INFO BFMTV – After Belgium and the Netherlands, France in turn is considering suspending flights and trains from the United Kingdom.
France is “seriously” considering suspending flights and trains from the United Kingdom, after the discovery of a new variant of the coronavirus circulating on British territory, according to information gathered by BFMTV.
“A decision will be announced during the day” and the government “is looking for European coordination”, we are told.
A new strain of coronavirus has been detected in the UK, which is more contagious, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson has decided to reconfine London and the south-east of England as a result. After the Netherlands from this Sunday morning at 5 a.m., Belgium has also announced that it will suspend flights and trains from Great Britain from midnight Sunday. Germany could make the same decision.
