France in 2030 must reduce fossil-fuel use by 40%

According to the law, the French authorities to 2030 must reduce fossil-fuel use by 40%, and also until 2022 to close all the coal plants in the country. At the same time, planned for 2025, the reduction of the nuclear energy sector was postponed for 10 years.
In addition, the law provides an active extension of biogas energy and a gradual program of upgrading the power supply to the residential sector of France. Every year in the country will assess the energy consumption of residential premises and cost of repair of those which consume too much heat.
