The Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ) has kicked off its newest exhibit : Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and the modern mexican.
The visitors will make a foray into the world of a couple of legendary artists : Frida Khalo, female model and committed artist, and Diego Rivera, the muralist mexican. In addition to an exceptional selection of works by these two monuments of the universe of the arts in mexico, the exhibition tells their story and their daily lives through numerous photographs.
Among the masterpieces made in the beautiful pavillon Pierre Lassonde, we will be able to discover 20 paintings of Frida Kahlo, whose well-known self-Portrait at the collar, self-Portrait with braid, Diego in my thoughts, as well as the famous Market of arums, de Rivera. Other mexican artists are also featured. All in all, the visitors will discover more than 150 pieces of collection. Recall that cette4 exhibition was a huge success in all cities where it has been presented.
