The sea swim, but not in Mariupol

The plague from the beach

Treatment: two months

  • Parasites. In polluted water bodies have a chance to be infected with ascariasis, which occurs with General malaise, fever, dry cough, symptoms of lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain). Worms are happy to breed in warm water.

Treatment: not less than one and a half months

  • Leptospirosis. It is also called “water rush”, and from it a person can even die. You can become infected by swallowing water, and through cuts on the body, mucous membranes. The infection gets into water from animal faeces, and in the human body affect the liver and kidneys, is raised very high temperature. The disease is treated with antibiotics, but if its run, the doctors can not help.

Treatment: hay fever – incubation period 2 to 30 days, the fever can last up to 12 days full recovery within 4-6 weeks
