The Mackenzie Tower, the circuit of professional golf canada has chosen to put his season in the trash on Friday.
The circuit, which may be qualified as minor, will, therefore, have held an event in 2020, who should take 13 this year. It was a summit in its history.
The organization explained that it had taken this decision due to restrictions at the border, the mandatory quarantine for travellers, and measures of social distancing imposed in all provinces of canada.
“We created a lot of momentum and we were delighted to continue to have a positive impact in the communities where we play, while offering our players opportunities to advance to the PGA,” said the director of the Mackenzie Tower, Scott Pritchard, in a press release of his organization. “Our commitment to our tournaments and their communities, as well as our players, is unwavering. We will use this time to come back stronger in 2021.”
