First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov has chaired the working group which will monitor the work of the governors on national projects, determining their effectiveness and making adjustments in activities, reports “Kommersant”.
Deputy Siluanov was appointed head of the Ministry Maxim Oreshkin. He will liaise with the regions. The Executive Secretary of the group identified by the Deputy head of the government Valery Sidorenko.
However, the group included Deputy Prime Minister, Vitaly Mutko, the head of the expert Directorate of the President Vladimir Simonenko, office of the President to ensure that the activities of the state Council Alexander Kharichev, assistant of the presidential administration on domestic policy Olga Allilueva, Deputy Minister of Finance Leonid Gornin, Deputy Minister of economy Vadim Zhivulin, the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin.
The composition suggests that the work of the governors would be watching the government. Thus, the group will be able to discuss with regional leaders the economic indicators, and to decide whether the President’s administration to undertake measures in connection with the failure to reach KPIs.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that officials will be personally responsible for the implementation of national projects in Russia. According to him, the national projects is “unprecedented step forward.”
