Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge and his brother, Vincent, had to say goodbye to their father, a few days ago. Indeed, François Thivierge, born in 1947, died at a “very mild” on the 11th of July, announced the first on his account Instagram, Tuesday.
The actor and director has paid tribute to his father by publishing two photos where dad and son appear together.
“Thanks, dad, for being my father! I still recall the confidence and all the good and beautiful values that you [as] inherited from Vincent and me! I love you for always, good rest, dad,” he also wrote.

Guillaume and Vincent Lemay-Thivierge had already had the pain of losing their mother, Frances Lemay, who died of cancer in may 2011. The latter had formerly worked in elementary schools as a resource teacher and had participated in the foundation of the alternative school The Ant hill, in Saint-Jérôme.
