After the speech by the Minister of Health on Tuesday evening, Haut-#Rhin was one of the twenty departments under surveillance and likely to come under curfew from 6 p.m. from Saturday January 2. Finally, and according to the final list unveiled by the government spokesperson on TF1’s 1 p.m. newscast on January 1, the department escapes it.
It is a list of fifteen departments that Gabriel Attal unveiled, in which neither the Haut-#Rhin can Bas-#Rhin. The curfew is therefore maintained at 8 p.m. throughout Alsace. In neighboring territories, Moselle, Meurthe-et-#Moselle, Vosges and Territoire de Belfort, on the other hand, fall under curfew from 6 p.m.
In the point of the Regional Health Agency dated December 31, the incidence rate in the Haut-#Rhin amounted to 187.5 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 217 among those 65 and over. There were 151.5 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the Bas-#Rhin, 156 among people 65 and over.
