The dog with leukemia he didn’t have much time to live. Since he was diagnosed with this disease, the puppy had lived to the full every day thanks to his best human friend, who wanted to give him a great gift before saying goodbye. One last walk together to be able to greet each other in the places they loved to frequent.
Monty is a 10-year-old Labradoodle who lived with Carlos Fresco, a 57-year-old man, in London, England. He always participated in the great adventures of his human dad. But 18 months ago i veterinary doctors he was diagnosed with leukemia and his life took a turn.
The two have gone through so many journeys that they will never forget. One of those historical tours was a hike up a mountain located in Wales, in Great Britain. And to live together the last moments of the dog’s life, the man decided to give him that experience again.
The man, knowing that the dog loved to walk with him in that place, traveled 290 kilometers from his home to reach the mountain range for one last adventure with Monty. But he could not walk on foot, but the owner transported him with a wheelbarrow.
Along the way, the couple made hundreds of friends who, after seeing the curious scene, talked to the Londoner, being moved by his story and helping him to push the wheelbarrow to the top of that mountain.

Everyone took turns helping to push the cart, and Monty really enjoyed himself because he always loved people and because he was pampered by everyone, the object of everyone’s attention.
Carlos was struck by how many people were moved by his story and helped him on this walk. In June, Monty died at the foot of Carlos’s bed, but he only had good memories with him.
