Idea Bank may get a new owner in the first quarter of 2020
Polish holding was put up for sale the Ukrainian Idea Bank.
It is reported that Getin Holding S. A. signed a letter of intent with a private equity Fund in which the Fund expressed a desire to purchase 100% shares Idea Bank, and up to 100% of OOO “new Finance Service”.
The buyer will conduct a six-week audit and legal review (due diligence), and in the case of a positive result agree on the terms of the transaction under consideration. To whom sell the Idea Bank, not reported. In accordance with the timetable established in the letter of intent, the transaction may close in the first quarter of 2020.
Idea Bank (Ukraine) is one of the first commercial banks in Ukraine, was founded in 1989 under the name “Pricarpathian”. Later changed its name several times: in 1995 for “Precarpathia”, in 2007 “Bank Plus”, since 2011 has the current name – Idea Bank.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the Fund for guaranteeing deposits of natural persons has completed the procedure of liquidation of “BROKBUSINESSBANK”, which belonged to the oligarch Sergey Kurchenko.
