Around thousands of coins that were released were in stock
The British Treasury temporarily stopped issuing new coins of 50 pence, which was dedicated to the country’s withdrawal from the European Union on 31 October.

It is noted that the suspension of the release of commemorative coins associated with the likely postponement of Brexit. Around thousands of coins that were released, was out of stock.”We have suspended production of coins Brexit and will make the final decision in due time”, – reported in the Royal mint.
The publication reports that there is already speculation over the future of already issued thousands of coins. In particular, there is a possibility that they later put up for auction and the price one can reach 800 pounds.
