In Japan presentation of the robot-assistant UGO from Japanese startups Mira Robotics, which has its pros and cons.
The presentation showed the first steps in creating robots domestic workers, informs Rus.Media.
“What makes the demonstrate so interesting is comically slow pace at which it moves the robot maid on the videos it took him almost a whole minute to take one towel from the basket and throw it in the dryer, which is at arm’s length,” say the witnesses of the presentation.
The robot was developed in February 2018. Its weight is approximately 72 kgs. Growth is regulated and varies from 110 to 180 centimeters. Arm length is 60 cm, so in total it can reach a height of two meters.

According to the developers, this will reduce the cost to 180-220 dollars a month compared to the cost of conventional services on the household – from 455 to 910 dollars.
Beta testing UGO will be held in August, and then it is planned to launch the service in may 2020.
