The City of Lyon is launching the recruitment of a project manager to orchestrate a major greening plan for schoolyards and outdoor nursery spaces by the end of the mandate in 2026.
This is one of the strong axes of the mandate of the new ecological majority for the 2020/2026 mandate. In the wake of Mayor Grgory Doucet, the City of Lyon wants to boost the vegetal redevelopment of schoolyards and nurseries, and this “to create spaces more suited to climatic and educational challenges”.
This project concerns around 50,70 schoolyards and around 150 outdoor nursery spaces, for an investment amount of around 20 million euros between 2021 and 2026. The town hall is preparing to recruit a chef. project in order to orchestrate this vast program.
