The end of the year holiday season is an opportunity to highlight solidarity initiatives to help the most disadvantaged, with in particular in Belleville, in the north of Paris, a Christmas market that is a bit special since is free. Here, each day the slammer Pilote le Hot and a handful of volunteers invite those who need it to stop by their stand to share a moment or a “homemade” soup. It is an initiative born after the implementation of the curfew: “Les Soupes de Belleville”.
