The Syrian Observatory for human rights reported the death of 15 Russians who worked in a private security firm from the explosion at the arms depot.
In Syria as a result of the explosion at an arms depot killed 15 Russians who work in a private security company. It is reported by The Guardian, citing Syrian Observatory for human rights, reports Rus.Media.
“Fifteen of the Russians working in the Russian private security company were killed during the explosion at the arms depot in Tabia Jazeera in the province of Deir Ezzor”, – said the representative of the Observatory Rami Abdel Rahman.
The incident occurred at the Armory in Tabia Jazeera in the northeast province of Deir Ezzor.
According to media reports, the Russian workers were accompanied by regime forces, when they advanced to the oil and gas fields on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river, controlled by the Syrian democratic forces (SDF), supported by the United States.
On the website of the Observatory was assumed that the militants of the regime was trying to access the weapons in the warehouse, but explosive device is the trap. Human rights activists say that in total it killed 23 people, including 15 Russians.
