The CPS found in the cereal “Bystrov” Nestle unregistered on the territory of Russia of genetically modified papaya.
“GM papaya (transformation event X17-2) in the Russian Federation in member States of the Eurasian economic Union, as well as in the EU not registered”, – reports the Agency.
We are talking about oatmeal “Variety gourmet” Nestle “Bystrov”.
In turn, Nestle said that the company does not use GMO ingredients in their products.
“As soon as we became aware of the accidental presence of GMOs, we immediately ceased the production of this product,” the company said.
Nestle also noted that the mess will still be withdrawn from sale, as it does not meet the requirements of technical regulation of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU).
The specialists of Roskoshestvo found GMOs in dry food for dogs, which is sold in Russia.
