Engine P120C will accommodate more than 140 tons of fuel
The European space Agency (ESA) announced that is ready to be tested the largest solid rocket motor — P120C.

This engine will be used on the new rocket Vega C and Ariane 6, which will be put into operation in 2020.
Engine P120C will accommodate more than 140 tonnes of fuel in the hull length of 13.5 m and a diameter of 3.4 m. the New engine is an improved version of the P80, which contained 88 tons of fuel.
P120C capable of developing a thrust of up to 4615 kN and a burning time is 135 s. ESA notes that all major engine components have already been tested separately.
