The bill MPs propose to extend the concessional customs clearance “euromarch” for another 90 days, contrary to all expectations, the State fiscal service, and the promises of the Tax Committee and Nina Wanna. Recall that preferential customs clearance according to the rules introduced in the Tax Committee introduced until February 22.
The bill proposes to extend preferential customs clearance on February 22, but on condition on payment of half the amount of the excise tax. 22 Feb 2019 is the deadline of the grace period of application of the excise tax rates with a factor of 0.5 for the customs clearance of vehicles with foreign registration. After 22 February, the owners of such vehicles will pay excise tax at the full rate.
In DFS, by the way, did not fail to note that the preferential customs clearance of cars on avtonomera brought into the budget of two billion hryvnia. Before the end of the clearance, according to Finance Ministry forecasts, will be cleared almost 250-300 thousand cars on avtonomera that will bring additional funds to the budget.
