In connection with the increase of the subsistence minimum from December 1, in Ukraine will increase the minimum pensions up to UAH 1638. Thus, the payments will increase next month on 74 hryvnia.
Under the law, the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons from July 1, amounted to 2 007 hryvnia, now he will grow up to 2 102 hryvnia.
At the same time for those who have lost work capacity, it will grow to 1 638 the hryvnia, for children under 6 years — 1 779 UAH; for children aged 6 to 18 years — up to 2 218 UAH.
In addition, the Law of Ukraine № 1058 defines the amount of pension. So in particular, article 27 of the Act contains the formula for calculating the amount of the pension, where the salary (income) of the insured person, determined in accordance with article 40 of the Law No. 1058, is multiplied by the coefficient of insurance of the insured person, determined in accordance with article 25 of the Law No. 1058.
The minimum pension age is set at the subsistence minimum for persons incapacitated specified by law, in the presence of men 35 years and women 30 years of insurance (for pensions fixed before 01.10.2011 insurance experience for men 25 for women — 20 years).
Retirees who have enough experience (35 in men and women — 30 years), but because of the small salaries, their pension benefits do not reach 2000 hryvnia, they will receive a Supplement to the pension in the amount which is lacking to the specified size. Appropriate changes can be made as from 01 July 2019.
Pensioners who after a pension worked, have the right to recalculation of pensions in accordance with part 4 of article 42 of the Law No. 1058. It is held in the case of acquisition of the right to establish bonuses, or increase pensions for special merits before Ukraine.
To ensure the indexation of pensions, each year, carry out a recalculation of previously assigned pensions by increasing the average wage (income) in Ukraine from which insurance premiums are paid and which account for pension calculation (part 2 of article 42 of the Law No. 1058).
