Videotron has extended until the end of the month of June, the removal of data limits on its internet packages, in the context of the pandemic of the COVID-19.
The measure was initially put in place on 13 march last in order to promote telework in this time of health crisis, but also with the aim of enabling people to stay connected at home without worrying about the limits of their package.
Videotron was the first company to remove the data limits on its internet packages.
“We have put in place a series of measures to make their lives easier during the exceptional situation that we are experiencing in this moment”, stressed Saturday Jean-François Pruneau, president and chief executive officer of Videotron.
“The important thing for us is that our clients can focus on what really matters: their health and the health of their loved ones. This is why we extend all of our initiatives until 30 June next year”, he added.
Among other measures taken due to the current context, Videotron has also cancelled the roaming rates for travellers outside of Canada and managed a fifty channels.
