The portfolio of bonds of internal state loan (government bonds) owned by non-residents on 15 November increased by UAH 1.4 billion (1.35%) to 104.9 billion UAH.
This is evidenced by data of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
At the same time, the portfolio of government bonds owned by the Ukrainian banks increased by 5.17 billion (1.55%) to 338,15 billion.
The amount of government bonds owned by the NBU remained unchanged, individuals – increased by 0.3 billion UAH (3.13%) to 10.1 billion UAH and legal entities – has changed slightly.
In General, the portfolio of government bonds increased by UAH 6.96 billion (0.86%) to 816,68 billion.
As reported, the Ministry of Finance at primary auctions on November 12 attracted to the state budget from the placement of bonds of internal state loan (government bonds) UAH 10.9 billion, including thanks to the placement denominated in US dollars on two-year bonds for $304.8 million
Denominated in U.S. dollars the bonds were offered for the first time in 2 months. The weighted average rate on 2-year foreign bonds was reduced to 4.02% for the three-year hryvnia – to 13.07%.
