Iran has denied the US charges in the attack on the tankers in the Gulf of Oman. Iranian foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif protested that the States, not understanding and not providing evidence, stated that Iran was involved in the incident, according to the portal “Morning.ru”.
“The fact that the United States immediately decided to press charges against Iran without any actual or circumstantial evidence – makes clear that they are moving to plan B: sabotage diplomacy, including those by Shinzo Abe,” wrote the Minister on Twitter.
According to the Minister, “attack” more than suspicious. He noted that it happened on the background of the negotiations.
Earlier, the US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that Iran was involved in the attack tankers in the Gulf of Oman. He relied on data obtained allegedly in the intelligence and other information.
