Chased out of Tampa by Tom Brady, former quarterback of the Buccaneers Jameis Winston would be on the point of agreeing with the Saints of New Orleans, who have at the same time granted a new two-year contract to the quarterback Taysom Hill, Sunday.
Winston would, in fact, on the point of accepting a covenant of one season with the team in Louisiana, according to what was reported by the network ESPN.
Drew Brees is the unquestionable quarter from the team and Hill had recently obtained a vote of confidence from head coach Sean Payton as the successor to Brees. Teddy Bridgewater has also seen action with the club last season, but he joined the Carolina Panthers.
16 parties last year, Winston has completed 380 passes for gains of 5109 yards, tops in the NFL. Its 626 relays tempted, as his 30 steals are also tops for the campaign. Thirty-three of his throws were at the origin of a hit.
Winston, aged 26, has played five seasons with the Bucs. He has been invited to the Pro Bowl after his first campaign, in 2015.
Hill has completed only three passes in six attempts for 55 yards in 2019, but it has conducted 27 courses for 156 yards and a major.
