The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev met with the head of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbekov Sooronbai on the sidelines of the SCO summit.
The leaders announced the intention to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all areas, reports TASS.
During the negotiations the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral agenda, including: “measures to increase trade and economic, cultural-humanitarian and cross-border cooperation”.
The press service of the President of Uzbekistan also said that Mirziyoev plans to meet with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to hold talks with the Deputy UN Secretary-General for political Affairs rosemary di Carlo.
