Jeff Bell will take the helm of financial affairs with SNC-Lavalin.
The hiring announced Monday by the engineering firm, montréal is part of the renewal of its senior management.
This man was born in Ontario and was formerly head of financial affairs group at Centrica plc. It will replace Sylvain Girard.
“Jeff brings a valuable leadership experience as a former head of financial affairs group of a global company in the services and energy solutions. SNC-Lavalin focuses on the expansion of its engineering services in high-potential in key geographical regions around the world, a goal that Jeff is capable of fulfilling. As a Canadian, he is aware of the deep roots of the company as an engineering company worldwide established in Montreal, and he is aware of the importance of the canadian market for its success,” said Ian L. Edwards, president and chief executive officer of SNC-Lavalin.
In the wake of its new strategic orientations announced last July, changes have been made to the management of the company.
The executive vice president and chief legal officer, Charlene A. Ripley, as well as the chief of transformation, Louis Veronneau have been recently appointed. In addition, the president and chief executive officer, Ian L. Edwards, is in post since June of last year, replacing Neil Bruce who was in office since 2015.
