The prime minister Justin Trudeau took a sabbatical Sunday, on the occasion of the feast of Easter, to spend time with his family.
It was his first day off in nearly a month, when it takes place each day in the late morning and a press conference to inform the population about the evolution of the pandemic COVID-19, and various assistance measures and the prevention taken by the government.
Justin Trudeau will not hold press conference on Monday either.
In the early evening, Sunday, his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, has posted on Facebook pictures of the family reunited on the occasion of Easter.
“Have a good Sunday everyone! Justin, the kids and I want to take a few moments to wish you our best wishes on this long weekend. Even if we must all be creative to celebrate a little differently this year, we’re all in the same boat. If you are with your loved ones or if you keep the contact at a distance, we think of you and you are in our hearts. Happy Easter everyone!” said Ms. Grégoire-Trudeau in a message accompanying the photos.
