Kazakhstan has become a leader in the housing construction among the CIS countries



Kazakhstan took the first place in the CIS for housing construction, reports “WORLD 24”.

At the end of last year, the country commissioned over 12 million square meters. This from the budget allocated more than three billion dollars.

“Among the CIS countries, in housing construction per capita we are in the first place. There is a measure of the number of homes it is 0.68 square meters. In the Russian Federation – 0,54, Belarus – 0,4, Uzbekistan – 0,36,” says Minister of industry and infrastructural development of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar.

Among the regions in the lead of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Mangystau oblast. Less is being built in the North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Kostanai and East Kazakhstan regions. Now in the country, almost 500 thousand people are in the queue for housing. It’s a little more than 2.5% of the population.
