MANILA, Philippines – Big Kemark Cariño joined the growing roster of Filipinos in the Japanese B. League with the signing of the Gilas product with the Division 2 club Aomori Wats, the club announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot-9 center is the latest Filipino talent to sign a professional contract in League B. After Thirdy Ravena of San-En, Javi Gómez de Liaño of Ibaraki and Juan Gómez de Liaño of Earth Friends.
Ravena and Javi are in Division 1, while Juan is in Division 2.

It was also announced that Kiefer Ravena would be a part of Shiga, but he is still in the PBA with NLEX to fulfill his contract with the Road Warriors.
Cariño, who played college basketball with San Beda, last played with Gilas in the second window of the 2021 Fiba Asian Cup Qualifiers in Manama, Bahrain.
The lanky averaged 3.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 13.6 minutes of play.
