“Prepare the circle line to move on a continuous path will be completed before June 1. Due to the welding of rails by special technology between them will decrease the number of joints, and passengers will experience less vibration and noise travel will be more comfortable and a quarter of quiet,” said the Deputy mayor of Moscow on issues of transport Maxim Liksutov.
To do this, first replace the lining under the rails. To date, replaced 100 thousand backings – 90% of the planned volumes. Now work is going on the stretch of 14 km from the station “Belorusskaya” station “Kurskaya”.
“By 2020 we plan to upgrade the 265 km of track, replacing the usual tracks on “velvet road”. Now a similar weldless design path is mounted on the Central sections of lines are located inside the Ring, as well as in areas Solntsevo and Filevskaya lines”, – said Liksutov.
Earlier it was reported that in the Moscow metro until the end of 2023 will be built and will open 134 km of lines, 55 stations and six depots.
