Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz invited the President to soon hold early parliamentary elections because of the scandal followed by the resignation of the Vice-Chancellor Heinz-Christian strache, reports TASS.

The Prime Minister also announced the collapse of the ruling coalition in the Parliament because they do not want to work with discredited Austrian freedom party (fpö), headed by strache. According to the politician, the behavior of its members is harming the country’s image.

“His behavior, the Austrian freedom party hurting the reforms, and hinders on the path to change. It harms the image of our country, and I want to tell you the truth, it does not fit my political approach,” said Kurtz.
