    Miss Normandy Amandine Petit was crowned Miss France 2021 on Saturday December 19 in Puy-du-Fou. Originally from Bourguébus near Caen (Calvados), the 23-year-old young woman is the seventh Norman to have worn the crown of Miss France, in 100 editions of the competition.

    Moved to tears, with the crown on her head: the 100th Miss France ceremony, which was held in Puy-du-Fou, ended in the most beautiful way for Amandine Petit. Miss Normandy, from Bourguébus near Caen, was crowned Miss France 2021!

    Small in name, but big in ambition“: it is with these words that the 23-year-old Norman with blue eyes presented herself to viewers and the jury made up of former Miss France.

    A touch of humor that brought luck to the second year student in the management of establishments and gerontological structures.

    “You have to believe in your dreams”

    Last selected among the five finalists of the competition, Amandine Petit was given the crown shortly after midnight, at the expense of Miss Provence, however favorite.

    Very clearly, you have to believe in your dreams since on all my report cards, we always wrote “lack of self-confidence”. Well tonight I proved that even if we lack self-confidence, we can go very far“said Miss France 2021 with joy a few seconds after her coronation, with tears in her eyes.

    Amandine Petit thus becomes the seventh Miss Normandy sacred Miss France. The latest is none other than Malika Ménard, Miss France 2010, who pushed Amandine Petit to participate in the beauty pageant when the two women met in 2015.
