Loiret and Loir-et-Cher in great cold yellow vigilance

Loiret and Loir-et-Cher in great cold yellow vigilance

-3 degrees expected overnight and early this Monday in the south-eastern part of Loiret (Sully-sur-Loire, Nogent-sur-Vernisson, Ousson-sur-Loire) and -2 degrees elsewhere: it will again be cold on the Loiret, according to Météo France, with frosts expected throughout the department.

Like thirty-three French departments, the Loiret is placed this Sunday in yellow vigilance “great cold” until Monday morning 10am. Same thing in the Loir-et-Cher. Freezing fogs are expected in places, east of a line from Ferté Saint-Aubin to Gâtinais.

It will therefore be necessary to be vigilant on the roads at night and Monday morning, especially on the secondary network with sometimes difficult traffic conditions. The salt spreaders of the Loiret departmental council should be at work, as they have been for several days now.
