- Employees of a private company in charge of the cleaning of some arrondissements of Marseille are on strike.
- They have also blocked two centres of transfer of waste.
- They require the maintenance of a premium.
The bins are overflowing again in Marseille. The 250 employees of the company Derichebourg responsible for the cleaning of the 2nd, 15th and 16th arrondissements of Marseille had stopped work since Wednesday, to request the retention of a premium which, according to them, was diminished by the company Derichebourg, became the new provider of garbage collection in these districts.
Two centres of transfers of waste of the metropolis Aix-Marseille-Provence were blocked Friday by those same employees, thus preventing the flow of waste to the treatment centers.
