MONTREAL – Medicom is going to provide hundreds of millions of masks to the canadian government over the next 10 years.
The montreal company said Friday that it has entered into an agreement with Ottawa to create 20 million breathing masks N95 and 24 million surgical masks, every year, during the next decade. In total, we are talking about an order of 440 million units.
The delivery of the first masks, which are essential pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE), will as of this summer, coming to support canadian medical personnel in the fight against the COVID-19.

Medicom, which is one of the leading producers of personal protective equipment across the world, distributes its products under the brand Ritmed, Ocean Pacific, Hopen and Hedy Canada Inc, that it has recently acquired. The company, founded in 1988, is present in Europe and Asia.
