The high cost of gasoline is a problem in Ukraine. The Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture of Ukraine Tymofiy mylovanov announced on December 11 in Facebook.
“Statistics and problem of the weeks, and possibly months. Margin sellers of gasoline A-95 for the year rose from 8% to about 21%. In my opinion, is too much. Rate increases, inflation decreases and fuel prices are not falling. The Ministry is studying the situation and will take all possible actions are fully in accordance with the law,” he wrote.
According enkorr, 11 December the average retail price of gasoline A-95 in Ukraine is 28,55 UAH per liter. It is 6 kopeks less than 10 Dec.
According to forecasts of the National Bank of Ukraine at the beginning of November, inflation will decline to 6.3% by the end of 2019 and reach the medium-term objective of 5% at the end of 2020.
