The Major League Soccer (MLS) would be attached to the August 22 resumption of its matches of the regular schedule following the tournament “The MLS is back”, currently underway in Orlando.
At least that is what the site The Athletic reported. According to this source, a first phase would be provided until September 13 and would include six parts per team. Then, the second phase of the plan would take place from 16 September to 8 November. A total of 18 courses, nine-by-association, would be to play in the playoffs, which will enter into the November 20 and conclude on December 12.
The sports site has also pointed out that the three canadian teams in the MLS, the Montreal Impact, Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps, would that between them during the initial phase because of the constraints related to the closure of the border between Canada and the United States. The Athletic has added that the leaders of the circuit are hoping the new rules in respect of the government by the beginning of phase 2.
Begun on 8 July, the tournament summer of the MLS will end with the final on 11 August.
