OTTAWA, The Trudeau government tabled its bill, on Wednesday afternoon, designed to help dairy producers affected by the crisis of the COVID-19 by increasing the borrowing capacity of the canadian dairy Commission $ 300 million to $500 million.

Thirty deputies were gathered in the commons to pass this bill, the C-16.

The measure is intended to allow the Commission to increase its supply of butter and cheese, in order to prevent surpluses of milk are thrown away because of the closure of many restaurants.

The Senate will consider its side on bill C-16 on Friday.
