A few hours before the presentation of the race trucks in NASCAR on Saturday night, to which is engaged the driver beauceron Raphael Lessard, the circuit in Texas will be the site of a test series Xfinity.
And, good news, the name of Alex Labbé is on the list of registered voters, even if, in the beginning of the week, his participation was rather uncertain.
The pilot of St. Albert has agreed with the owner of the stable DGM, ownership of Quebec’s Mario Gosselin, to compete in the 16th round of the championship.
“We always want to participate in the playoffs, explained Labbé, but to do this, one cannot miss a race this year. Everything is obviously a matter of budget.
“A good result would allow us to run the next week at Kansas. It is already assured to be present on the circuit road America Road [8 August] and Daytona [15 August].”
Three rankings among the top 10 in 2020
Three times this year in 15 starts, Labbé ranked among the first ten, or the rings of speed Daytona (10th) and Talladega (9th) as well as the road circuit at Indianapolis (8th).

Pandemic requires, the time of the day on Saturday does the race of 200 laps divided into three segments. As Raphael Lessard, Labbé will start from the 16th spot when the green flag will be waved around 15h.
