Despite a few new cases, two other people lost their life in Quebec, bringing the total to 34 deaths so far.
The regional director of public health of the CIUSSS of the National Capital, Dr. François Desbiens, has also confirmed 17 new positive cases in the territory, bringing the total of 647 people infected.
In the designated hospitals of the region, there are currently 17 hospitalizations (-1), 4 (unchanged) to the intensive care unit.
The health authorities are currently satisfied with the situation improving gradually.
“Thanks to the efforts of the citizens and the stringent measures of prevention put in place by the government, the spread of the virus is now low in the community of the National Capital. Today, nearly 350 people have healed from all those who were infected,” said Dr. Desbiens.
The balance sheet, however, continues to be catastrophic to the Jeffery Hale with 110 people infected across all sectors. Among the two deaths of more announced by Dr. Desbiens, one of them is still in the Jeffery Hale, for a total of 18 deaths in this single institution of the district of Saint-Sacrement. By contrast, the number of employees in isolation (33) is in significant decline (-14).
The CHSLD Pault-Triquet, the spread with six new people infected, and a death of more, for a total of 8 dead. The Manoir de Courville, the situation is still difficult but stable with no new cases, and a balance sheet unchanged for three deaths.
