The remaining budget, he said, will be distributed between the other countries – members of NATO.
According to the Secretary General, NATO is the only platform where Europe and the United States can work together to address strategic issues, including reaction to the strengthening of Russia and China.
“NATO is the only platform where Europe and North America can work together to address strategic issues such as the fight against terrorism or how to deal with a more aggressive Russia and growing China,” he said.
During the news conference, macron said that his statement about “brain death” NATO has been a useful signal for the Alliance.
“My comment about “brain death” NATO was a useful signal to draw the attention of the Alliance,” he said.
