For this evening of New Years Eve, the Seine-#Maritime prefecture wished to recall the security system in place, “in a context of health crisis, and [de] Vigipirate plan raised to the level of ’emergency attack’ ”. It is stated in a press release that “the curfew rules, as for other evenings, continue[ent] to apply on the evening of December 31, 2020 ”. It is therefore prohibited, with exceptions, to travel between 8 p.m. this evening and 6 a.m. on Friday January 1.
Products exclusively sold to adults
The sale of alcohol is prohibited in the department, from 8 p.m. today to 8 a.m. Friday, January 1, 2021, as is the consumption on public roads and public lands of all alcoholic beverages.
Until January 3, 2021, 8 a.m., an identity card must be presented for the purchase of the following products: fireworks, bottles and cans containing chemicals, flammable or explosive (gasoline, hydrochloric acid, acid sulfuric acid, soda, methylated spirits, aerosols, solvents, etc.) and fuel in packaged form (jerry cans, cans). The sale of these products is prohibited to minors during this period.
It is specified that the security forces (police, gendarmerie, Sentinel soldiers) will ensure compliance with the system in place. “Particular vigilance will be exercised with regard to ‘clandestine parties’ giving rise to large gatherings, as well as to unjustified movements”.
