At 9 PM the first day of the war on the radio was transferred to the first summary of the Main command of the red army. From this moment tens of millions of people in the country every day froze in front of the repeaters to hear the opening words “From the Soviet information Bureau”.

June 22 summary reported that the fighting on the border and the loss borne by the enemy. However, it was explained that in some areas the enemy succeeded in penetrating into the territory of the Soviet state to a depth of 10-15 kilometers and to achieve minor tactical success.
