As noted, a nuclear test would be held if North Korea were concerned about the threat of attack from the United States
The Ambassador of North Korea in the UK Choi Il said that the DPRK will continue testing in the nuclear programme, despite warnings from the US and the UN. The Ambassador said in an interview with Sky News, reports Rus.Media.
“Concerning the sixth nuclear test, I don’t know the planned time, because I’m here in the UK, but not in my home country. However, I can say that a nuclear test will be conducted at the place and time where and when will be decided in the Supreme leader Kim Jong-UN,” said Choi Il.
According to him, the nuclear tests were not carried out if North Korea were concerned about the threat of attack from the United States. “We develop our nuclear power, to respond to this kind of attack on the part of States. If USA attack us, our military and people are fully ready to respond to any attack,” added the Ambassador.
In his opinion, a preemptive strike on North Korea is impossible, because “all available strategic assets, the United States will turn to ashes”, at the first sign of movement in this direction.
