Nur-Sultan summit of the Eurasian economic Union. In the capital of Kazakhstan held a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian economic Council (SEEC) at the level of heads of States. It is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the ideas of the first President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev on the Eurasian integration and the fifth anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian economic Union.
The participants will summarize the work of the EEU over the past years and outline the tasks for expansion of cooperation in various spheres: trade, economy, industry, Finance, social policy. Also at the meeting it is planned to consider issues of international activities of the EEU.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the leader of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The President of Moldova Igor Dodon invited as a head of state observer in the EAEC. The head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon – honorary guest of the meeting.
