Famous Ukrainian nutritionist Svetlana FUS spoke about the benefits of dark chocolate. It slows down aging and keeps the skin toned, she wrote in her Facebook.
– Cocoa beans, from which chocolate is made with quality leaders on the content of proanthocyanidins, essential to maintaining the collagen structure of the skin, and, consequently, its beauty and elasticity. Eating dark chocolate with high content of natural proanthocyanidins helps neutralize the free radicals, slows the aging process in the body. Antioxidant effect of cocoa is 20 times higher than well-known vitamin, – says nutritionist.
No wonder in cosmetology used a variety of chocolate treatments to maintain the beauty and health of the skin.
Quality chocolate is one in which from 70% to 90% cocoa. This product has a good effect on the cardiovascular and nervous system, cognitive function and protects the skin from UV radiation. Chocolate contains iron, calcium, magnesium, copper, so don’t consider it a waste of money.
Svetlana FUS warned about the high caloric content of the product.
– 100 g of black chocolate – 539 kcal, and milk chocolate – 554 kcal. This is a powerful argument for those who have excess body weight or control the weight. The optimal amount of consumption of dark chocolate for an adult is about 20 g per day, – summed up the expert.
