Pashinyan: Armenian-Chinese relations a new impetus

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan participated in the international conference “Dialogue of Asian civilisations”, which was held in Beijing. According to him, the Armenian-Chinese relations a new impetus, according to “WORLD 24”.

“Our goal is to create the competitive, technologically advanced economy and modern society based on the principles of equality, justice and the rule of law. Today Armenia is a dynamically developing country with a stable governance, where there is a viable economy and a pluralistic society,” – said the Prime Minister.

In his speech, Nikol Pashinyan recalled the various formats of the cooperation of Yerevan and Beijing. He said Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Union, cooperation with EU in the framework of the program “Eastern partnership” and participation in the Chinese initiative “Economic zone silk road”.

In addition, Nikol Pashinyan met with Premier of the state Council of China Li Keqiang. They discussed the increase in trade turnover between the two countries, transport, industry, information technology and agriculture. Before this took place the meeting of Armenian Prime Minister with President of China XI Jinping.
