This pig was lucky.
When Jennifer Gillispie went to the local shelter to adopt a cat, she stumbled upon mumps, who also needed saving. The woman immediately realized that it had to take this poor animal, because it was the perfect place, informs Rus.Media.
So, meet a pig named Parker Pigglesworth.
Parker was three months old and at that time he weighed 13 kilograms. Shortly after his arrival on the farm, Jennifer in Indiana, he became everyone’s favorite. One after the other cats that lived on a farm, came to the pig to touch a nose.
But the cats Parker met another pig named Hamilton, and two pygmy goats – Juliet and Caesar.
“He’s not used to low temperatures that are typical for Indiana this time of year. So we decided that it can live indoors with cats. He’ll be there until, until you grow up,” says Jennifer.
Shortly after Parker was put in the same room with the cats, everyone noticed how well he gets along with fluffy.
“Parker likes to spend time with the cats. And they believe that he is one of them. We often see how the pig sleeps in the arms of the cats on my bed. And sometimes he even eats cat food!” – Jennifer says.
“One of the cats named pippy in the pig has a special relationship. They always go together, drink and eat from the same bowl,” adds the woman.
And recently Jennifer had for the cats a new bed. But as Parker has long considers himself a member of the cat family, he immediately settled comfortably on one of the benches.
“Parker is now six months and as long as I keep it together with the cats. But when it gets warmer, I’ll have to move it into the barn to the other pigs. I hope that cats will go on a visit to his friend. In the meantime, let’s enjoy life together with their furry friends,” says Jennifer.
Many people admire the dwarf pigs and take them as Pets, thinking that they will always be so tiny.
But when in 6 months they grow up and become rather cumbersome, people hand them in shelters or on the farm.
It happened with Parker. But, fortunately, he was lucky to get the eye of Jennifer, who took it with him.
