Plot the Sokolnicheskaya line of the Moscow metro from the station “University” station “Kommunarka” will be closed for passengers from 13 to 20 July, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the Moscow metro.
Thus, the passengers will not be able to use the station’s “Prospekt Vernadskogo”, “Yugo-Zapadnaya”, “Troparevo”, “Rumyantsevo”, “Salarevo”, “Filatov Lug”, Prokshino, “alder” and “Kommunarka”. Trains will begin to run thereon until 21 July.
In a press-service of the Moscow subway said that the limitation of motion necessary for the construction of the South-Western section of the Great circle line, including the station “aminevskoe highway”, “Michurinskiy Prospekt” and “Prospekt Vernadskogo”. Passengers will be informed about the suspension of the movement by means of voice announcements in the subway.
To move between the closed stations, passengers can use free compensation buses. In addition, representatives of the metro encouraged passengers to use the Solntsevskaya, Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Butovskaya subway lines to get to the right areas.
South-Western section of the Great circle line will connect the Sokolniki and Solntsevskaya metro line which will improve transport accessibility for residents of areas Ochakovo-matveyevskoye, Ramenki and the Vernadsky Prospekt, where about 200 thousand people.
