The VW driver who today staged a deadly car accident in Boryspil, police found two grenades RGD-5, as well as license plates of another state. About it reports Department of communications of the police in the Kiev region, informs Rus.Media.
“On the specialline 102 the message came from concerned citizens that… a suspicious man in a Balaclava sat in the car with a foreign government numbers. The crew of the patrol police… after a few minutes began pursuit of the car “Volkswagen”, which included in the orientation. Demand for legitimate driver of the car did not stop, violating traffic rules, continued movement”, – stated in the message.
Running away from the police, the driver of the car when overtaking drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a car “Opel Vectra”. “As a result of road accident the driver of the car “Opel” from traumatized died immediately, and the passenger was injured chest,” – noted in police.
The driver of the car “Volkswagen” has appeared 26-the summer citizen of Georgia, who arrived in Ukraine 2 months ago and temporarily lived in Zhytomyr region. In the car during the inspection were found ammunition, two grenades RGD-5 and fuses to hand grenades, and even some license plates of another state, the origin of which law enforcement authorities are now installing. It is established that the possession of ammunition involved the passenger of the car, 43-year-old resident of the village of Dudarkiv, Boryspil district.
The alien is detained, has notified the Embassy of Georgia, consular Department of the MFA of Ukraine. The car “Volkswagen” seized and placed on a platform of the temporary contents.
Criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 286 (violation of traffic safety) and part 1 article 263 (illegal weapon handling, fighting supplies or explosives) the Criminal code of Ukraine. The investigation is underway.
