To work after reaching retirement age are going more than half (56,3%) of Russians, writes the newspaper “Izvestia”, citing a survey of the Fes.
According to the study, with 27.1% of respondents would not want to work in retirement, about one-third of respondents (30.1 per cent) expressed a desire to continue to work in the specialty.
Meanwhile, 27.6% of the survey participants would like to learn a new profession with the ability to work remotely. Another 25% of respondents intend to look for work with an incomplete schedule.
The survey also showed that the majority of respondents (77,6%) believes that the ability to work in retirement depends on the willingness of the employer to accept them. While 11,8% sure that it is all about the human desire to work, another 10.5% think that employment most importantly – skills.
Most of the respondents (34.5 per cent) said they want to work in a state enterprise, 23.2 per cent of the house. To open a business in retirement plan 15.8% of respondents, while 7.3% work in a private company.
According to the Ministry of labour from 1 January 2019, in Russia now live 43.8 million pensioners, 9.6 million of whom work.
